The Indian Air Force invites online applications from unmarried Indian male and female candidates for the Agniveervayu Intake 02/2026 under the Agnipath Scheme. The program aims to offer the youth a unique opportunity to serve the country by experiencing military life for a period of four years.

Post Name: Agniveervayu 02/2026 

Age: Candidates born between 02 July 2005 and 02 January 2009 (inclusive). Maximum age at the time of enrolment: 21 years.

Marital Status: Only unmarried male and female candidates are eligible. Females must not be pregnant during the engagement period.

Educational Qualifications: For Science Subjects:

10+2 with Mathematics, Physics, and English with 50% aggregate and 50% in English (OR) 

3-year Diploma in Engineering (any stream mentioned) with 50% aggregate and 50% in English (OR)

2-year Vocational Course with Physics and Math + 50% marks in aggregate and English.

For Other Than Science Subjects: 

10+2 in any stream with 50% aggregate and 50% in English, OR 2-year Vocational Course with 50% marks and 50% in English.

Medical Standards:

Height: 152 cm minimum (males and females), with relaxations for North East or hilly regions, and Lakshadweep.

Vision: Correctable to 6/6 each eye; certain limits for refractive errors.

Other: Normal hearing, dental fitness, and general health required.

Salary & Benefits:

Monthly Package: Rs.30,000 in 1st year, rising to Rs.40,000 in 4th year.

Seva Nidhi (on exit): Approx. Rs.10.04 lakh after 4 years.

Insurance: Rs.48 lakh life cover.

Other Benefits: Medical facilities, CSD, risk allowance, uniform, ration, LTC, etc.

Leave: 30 days annual leave + sick leave on advice.

Mode of Selection: 

Phase I - Online Written Exam Science: 60 mins, Other than Science: 45 mins, Both: 85 mins (CBSE 10+2 syllabus, bilingual)

Phase II - Physical Fitness Test + Adaptability Test I & II + Document Verification

Phase III - Medical Examination

Final Merit List: Based on performance, normalised marks, and state-wise cutoff.

Online Registration: 11 July 2025 - 31 July 2025.

Online Exam (Phase I): From 25 September 2025 onwards.

Provisional Select List (PSL): 15 May 2026.

Final Enrolment List: 01 June 2026.
