♦ Gujarat Governor Acharya Devvrat was given the additional charge of Maharashtra’s Governor on 11 September 2025.

♦ He has been given this charge after C. P. Radhakrishnan resigned from the post of Governor of Maharashtra, after his election as Vice President of India.

♦ Before serving as Gujarat's governor, Devvrat has also held the office of the governor of Himachal Pradesh from August 2015 to July 2019.

♦ He started serving as Gujarat's governor in July 2019.
