♦ Indian shooter Parth Rakesh Mane won double gold medals at the ISSF Junior World Championship 2024 on October 1. He clinched the gold medal in the men’s 10m air rifle held in Lima, Peru. Parth also won a team victory alongside Ajay Malik and Abhinav Shaw in the men’s 10m air rifle team event with a total score of 1883.5. India surpassed the USA (1877.6) and Germany (1873.9). 

♦ The women’s 10m air rifle team also struck gold, with Gautami Bhanot, Sambhavi Kshirsagar, and Anoushka Thakur taking the top spot.
