♦ Challa Sreenivasulu Setty was appointed as Chairman of State Bank of India (SBI) for a three-year term on 6 August 2024. He succeded Dinesh Kumar Khara. Before this elevation as Chairman, Setty was the SBI Managing Director heading Global Markets & Technology. 

♦ Also, Rana Ashutosh Kumar Singh was appointed as Managing Director of the State Bank of India. Currently he is the Deputy Managing Director.
